As consumer adoption of “buy online, pick up in store” (BOPIS) fulfillment continues to grow, opportunities for retailers and CPG brands expand as well.   With new behaviors and consumer
needs making waves throughout retail channels, retailers and marketers alike continue to hear a lot about where shoppers are going, what they’re buying, etc.  But do we really know why they’re choosing BOPIS? Convenience is the obvious answer, but getting past that first layer of rationale yields more actionable insight for all marketers.
 
TPN partnered with Ensemble IQ, surveying over 1,000 shoppers who have used BOPIS at least once in the past year.  We learned how BOPIS fits into the shopper’s larger journey, the role it plays in their life while also analyzing their mindset, behavior and decision influences along the path to BOPIS. 
 
This session will inspire a whole new way to think about this important trend, for both retailers and brands, open up conversations around fruitful opportunities to support shoppers and their decisions, as well as reveal a new way of shopping as the digital and brick and mortar walls collide.
