Kimberly DeJesso is currently a Regional Pro Sales Director for The Home Depot in New York Metro. She has been with The Home Depot for 24 years, starting in the paint department in May of 1998 at the company’s third location in NJ, store 903 South Plainfield. Kimberly worked her way up through the organization holding various roles, such as in-house measurer, supervisor, Pro Account Representative, National Account Manager and Regional Pro Sales Director.
In her current role, Kimberly supports 72 Home Depot store locations on the Pro side of the business in the tristate of North Jersey, New York’s 5 boroughs, Long Island, Westchester County and Southern CT. She also leads a team of consultative outside sales representatives that manage high dollar portfolios consisting of Home Depot Pro accounts.
Kimberly believes in the 8 core values that The Home Depot was founded on and allows those values to guide her decisions each and every day, whether personal or professional. These values contribute to the culture of The Home Depot and support the inverted pyramid of servant leadership. Throughout her time in Pro, she stood up Northern Division Women In Pro, as well as participated and presented in Women In Pro for the entire organization. Women In Pro encourages others to take opportunities in areas of our business where women are not as prevalent and allows them to feel confident that they too can make a positive impact and contribution to our growth and success.
Kimberly was born in Plainfield NJ, where she grew up throughout high school. She has one son that is 17 years old who inspired her to press forward regardless of adversity. Prior to The Home Depot, Kimberly was scheduled to leave for Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX to attend basic training; however, 28 days prior to leaving she broke her left wrist and needed to have a pin permanently inserted keeping the bone together. It was due to this injury that landed Kimberly at The Home Depot and though she felt her dream was shattered, little did she realize, it was just the beginning.
